Neelz Media FZE (“Yearly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company incorporated in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, provides the Yearly mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage your information. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


1. Information We Collect

2. How We Obtain Consent

  • System Permission Prompt: When the App first requests access to your contacts, a system dialog will appear explaining that contact data will be uploaded to our servers to match birthdays and friends on Yearly. You must tap “Allow” to enable this feature.

  • In‑App Disclosure: Before the prompt, the App displays an in‑context screen describing why contacts are needed and linking to this Privacy Policy.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may revoke access at any time in your device settings. Once permission is revoked, we cease collecting new contact data and delete previously uploaded contact data within 30 days.


3. How We Use Your Information

  1. Provide Core Services: Remind you of upcoming birthdays, allow you to send wishes and gifts, and display relevant notifications.

  2. Process Payments: Facilitate deposits, withdrawals, and gift transfers through Stripe.

  3. Improve the App: Analyse aggregated usage and crash data to enhance performance and add new features.

  4. Marketing & Communication: Send you optional promotional messages and feature updates. You can opt out at any time using the link in each message.


4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

  • Limited data may be shared with trusted service providers such as Stripe (payment processing) and Google Analytics (usage analytics) strictly for performing services on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements.

  • We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Yearly, our users, or others.


5. Data Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—such as encryption in transit and at rest—to protect your data. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.


6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the App’s services. If you delete your account or revoke specific permissions, we will delete or anonymise your data within legally permissible timelines.


7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Correction: View and edit most of your personal information in the App settings.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

  • Marketing Opt‑Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails by tapping the “unsubscribe” link in any email or managing notification settings in the App.


8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.


9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located inside or outside the UAE. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data‑protection rules.


10. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via the App or by updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
